This multimedia program demonstrates and discusses an array of bird activities including: flight, take-off, landing, feeding, bathing, drinking, preening, diving, nesting, and more. Includes both basic photography techniques and then fine tuning the skills needed to capture sharp images of active animals.

John Whistler, local gardener, photographer, and owner of Whistler Works Studio, will present “Tips on Garden Photography” at our next meeting on Tuesday, August 7th. This presentation will give those gardeners who want to capture photos of the flora and fauna in their gardens or elsewhere basic and advanced suggestions to improve their images. Join us Monday evening, May 7, when wildlife photographer Ken Conger will present a buffet of spectacular photos captured during his 2017 adventures to Ecuador, Kenya, Rwanda, India, Alaska as well as some western US national parks. In 2017 Ken concentrated on capturing some unique images and two special species on his “Bucket List”. Ken compliments his photos with stories, animal facts, audio and short videos. The program provides a view of a wildlife photographer’s world and the challenges taken to capture stunning wildlife images.
