I have not been keeping up with all the many, many accolades this group has accumulated, but this week is an exception. Congratulations to several CNPC members for having photos in this year’s annual photography showcase in the VDGIF’s Virginia Wildlife magazine! Barbara Houston (3 photos), Donnie Goodrich (2 photos), Judy Jones, Bob Schamerhorn, Roderick Perkinson (3 photos), Dan Ewart!
CNPC member Roderick Perkinson won in the Virginia State Park contest that took place on January 1. See more about the contest and see other winners here.

Chris Tennant will have this photo exhibited in “A Sense of Place: Photography of the High Peaks,” an exhibit in the Adirondack History Museum in Elizabethtown, New York, from June 2 through October 9.
CNPC member Judy Jones’ photo of an osprey with a just-caught fish won for the Spring selection in the James City County seasons photo contest.

Congratulations to Ken Conger whose photo of three (very cute!) Virginia fox kits was featured on the back cover of the May/June 2017 issue of Virginia Wildlife magazine!
Chris Tennant had a feature article, “Unexepcted Beauty,” published in the September issue of Popular Photography. The article included 8 of Chris’ images as well as an awesome article of how to work with mother nature.
Toni Johnson won eleven first place and three second places in the New Kent County Fair photo contest!
CNPC founding member Ken Conger, and member Bob Schamerhorn both have photos in DGIF’s 2017 Virginia Wildlife Calendar.
