September Meeting: Bob Schamerhorn “Birds In Action”

Join us Monday, September 10, at the James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Rd., Williamsburg at 6:30 p.m. Bob Schamerhorn will offer a new presentation called Birds In Action. “Moving objects are an especially difficult subject to capture, both technically and physically. This multimedia program demonstrates and discusses an array of bird activities including: flight, take-off, landing, feeding, bathing, drinking, preening, diving, nesting, and more. Includes both basic photography techniques and then fine tuning the skills needed to capture sharp images of active animals.

TUESDAY August 7 Meeting: John Whistler “Tips on Garden Photography”

Join us TUESDAY, August 7, at the James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Road, Williamsburg. John Whistler, local gardener, photographer, and owner of Whistler Works Studio, will present “Tips on Garden Photography” at our next meeting on Tuesday, August 7th.  This presentation will give those gardeners who want to capture photos of the flora and fauna in their gardens or elsewhere basic and advanced suggestions to improve their images. Meeting WEDNESDAY July 11: Terry Moore “North American Wildlife”
